Heh heh, I'll admit that I'm one of those people who have... or had, a very promiscuous strawberry nose. If you guys dunno what it is...
.. nope, it's not this.

But this!

Blackheads and gunk monsters!
It's due to all those years of oil, dirt, dead skin cells, etc. that I've accumulated without doing anything to clear them. Not forgetting to mention that I have a very crude facial routine of only washing my face with a facial cleanser (and sometimes bar soap =___=). No exfoliation, no toning, no moisturizing... not until recently when I've started exfoliating and doing weekly mud masks. So it's expected that my nose will look like that!
But recently, I've discovered a very effective way of getting rid of my fruit-ified nose! Thanks to my good pal, Naphula (she blogged about it here), and Chantana's pore strips! Here's a step-by-step breakdown on how I do it, and I'm featuring it cos it's just so fun to peel off the nose strip and look at all the gunk monsters trapped there! 8D
My bare face, just after my weekly mud mask. Feel so unglam, showing you guys my ugly, non made-up face.
Take a cotton ball and wet it. The secret weapon comes up next...
...and ta da! It's Mario Badescu's silver (awesome vacuuming) powder! Have it in Sephora's little sample jar~
Dip your wet cotton ball in it...
...and start smearing it all over your nose!
Wait for 10-15 mintues for it to dry, and it will be like so. While it dries, you'll feel a slight tugging sensation on your nose but that the powder doing its mojo.
Then wipe it off with toner, and voila! You can actually see the ugly gunk people poking out! How awesome is that??
Use any pore strip right after that; I was using the awesome strips that Chantana recommended us. And it's so cheap too!
Wait for it to dry... Then comes the fun part! I dunno about you guys, but I like to slowly peel the strip off gingerly while wincing at the pain and eyeing at the embedded gunk monsters.
Here's an extra large picture of all the stuff I got from my nose! Eww!!! But so shiok, ah ha ha ha! xD
That's actually my 3rd time doing this routine, so my nose has already been cleared up quite a lot. The first time I tried this, you won't believe how over-crowded the nose strip was! I was showing everyone in my family the disgusting thing - my dad took a glance and refused to look at it anymore.
And the end result is a much cleaner nose, cleared of many of its strawberry seeds~
You should try the holy grail duo - silver powder + pore strip = your life will never be the same again (or at least, your nose for the time being)
Hope you guys enjoyed this picture tutorial, cheers! xD

hoho. this is my HG way of removing blackheads! have been doing it this way for 2 years now.
and yes, feels damn shiok each time i do that ^^
