I went kinda psycho last night. Instead of studying for my last paper (YESSSSS, finally), I spent 2 hours adorning my nails for them to be worthy of the upcoming christmas celebrations!
Ahh, exams, just let Santa Claus screw you.
Presenting my very glittery, very elaborate set of festive nails! Classic too~

Sparkly sparkly holographic awesomeness~~~

The black was actually Manglaze's Matte black polish, but I painted Poshe's top coat over it and it became a nice shimmery black. :) Who says the polish is only for veiny man hands? Mine's such a girly rendition.

The ribbon design (I love how it resembles gift wrappings) was done with my Konad set and China Glaze's "Millennium" Khrome polish. The glittery tips are with Etude House's glitter polish.
Lastly, when you have such gorgeous nails, who wouldn't like hiding your face behind them? I sure don't mind (since they look a whole lot better than my face).

Hope you like the design as much as I do, and thanks for reading this short post! Tootles lovely people!!

I'll like to think that this is the kind of face that'll represent the polish's namesake accurately. :)
So after wearing my flashy iron-man-peach nails for 2 weeks (record time), I've finally switched it to Manglaze's Matte Is murder polish.

Ahh, you guys know the hype - it's a matte/flat black shade that became popular due to its lasting quality on nails and its 3-dimensional black colour, though its suppose to be matte. I kinda get the hype I suppose. Even though it dries like the texture of a black chalkboard, it's not just plain flat black. There are actually miniscule shimmers in the polish that blends in very well when dry - it makes the polish look more interesting and less dead. Can you see the slight shimmer in the pic above?
Application is ok, albeit a bit goopy. But it's considerably easier to work with than OPI's Suede polishes (which is hell to apply smoothly). I can't say about its lasting-ness for now, since I've only had it on for 2 days. But for now, even after all my rough handling/washing, there's hardly any tip-wear. I tried it on my dad 2 weeks back, and the polish is still doing fine on his pinky! He refused to let me get it off for him, ha ha!
Anyway, just featuring the simple eye look I was working that day. Black eyeliner and false lashes, that's all! I missed playing with my falsies since I've stopped wearing them after I quit Sephora.

I thought it matched the nails quite well~
Well, I'm really satisfied with the nail polish for now. Thoroughly enjoying the ragged, goth look for both my eyes and nails. If Matte Is Murder, then let's keep this fantastic secret to ourselves alright? Shhhhh... ...
